This article is situated in the context of special education and seeks to identify the key aspects of the teaching process linked to educational quality. Factors such as socioeconomic conditions, school climate, adapted infrastructure and institutional support are essential. Along with these, pedagogical elements such as clear objectives, effective methodologies, continuous evaluation and an inclusive environment are also decisive. From a qualitative approach, the study was developed at the Coanil Foundation through a non-experimental design. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and documentary analysis, which allowed us to understand the perceptions of teachers and technical-pedagogical heads regarding the quality of teaching. In addition, studies that highlight the relevance of adequate content, adaptation to individual needs and a positive classroom environment were reviewed. The analysis concludes that there are about ten factors that affect educational quality, among which initial teacher training, pedagogical planning and interaction with families stand out.
