Financial Policy

The Revista de Inclusión Educativa y Diversidad (RIED) transparently declares its financial policy, in line with international editorial best practices:

  1. Open Access and no charges:
The journal operates under a diamond open access model. This means that there are no costs for authors or readers:

    • No Article Processing Charges (APCs) are applied.

    • No subscription or download fees are charged.

  2. Sources of funding:
The editorial and technological management of the journal is financed by Horizonte Educativo SpA through its own resources. In addition, the journal receives in-kind support through the digital infrastructure provided by Editorial Memoria Litterae. The journal may also receive voluntary donations or institutional contributions, exclusively used to cover expenses related to editing, layout, translation, and digital preservation.

  3. Editorial independence:
The funding model does not influence in any way the editorial decisions, peer review process, or acceptance/rejection of manuscripts. All editorial decisions are based solely on academic and scientific merit.

  4. Transparency and sustainability:
Any future changes to the financial policy (such as external sponsorships, institutional support, or the introduction of charges) will be publicly announced in this section, ensuring maximum transparency to the academic community.
