About the Journal

The Journal of Educational Inclusion and Diversity (RIED) is a journal that publishes 2 issues per year with open access with a continuous and free peer-reviewed publication system for academics, professionals and students working in the field of education. RIED only accepts original and unpublished papers and has a strong social and cultural commitment, so it is based on methodological pluralism accepting quantitative, qualitative and mixed manuscripts.

Focus and scope

The RIED is focused on issues framed within the broad theme of education and its relationship with the inclusion present in the classroom, either from the cultural, social, gender, learning, among others. The above, always from a critical view towards educational processes aimed at the development of understanding, awareness and recognition of diversity for social justice.

In addition to the above, the Journal of Educational Inclusion and Diversity also receives proposals throughout the year for dossiers that include seminars and current debates. The contributions that make up the dossier (articles, notes and reviews) will be governed by the rules that apply to regular contributions.

By submitting a paper to the Journal of Educational Inclusion and Diversity, the author(s) retain the rights to the published contributions.

Ethical Statement

The Journal of Inclusive Education and Diversity (RIED) is committed to complying with the standards of ethical behavior at all stages of the publication process, having as reference the Singapore Declaration elaborated in the framework of the 2nd World Conference on Research Integrity, July 21-24, 2010, in Singapore, as a global guideline for responsible conduct in research.

Research published in RIED must have been conducted in an ethical and responsible manner, following current rules and regulations. This includes obtaining informed consent from research participants, protecting the confidentiality of data and the welfare of participants. Likewise, authors should describe in detail the research methods used and the measures taken to ensure the ethics of the research.

All articles submitted to RIED must be original and must not have been previously published in any other medium.

Plagiarism, in all its forms, is unacceptable and will be grounds for rejection of the article.

Authors must properly cite all sources of information used in their research.

Archive Policy

The contents of the Journal of Inclusive Education and Diversity (RIED) are actively deposited in PKP Preservation Network (PN).

RIED offers immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that providing the public with 'Open Access' to articles helps facilitate greater global knowledge sharing. Its content is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0.) license. Under this license, authors retain full copyright ownership and full publication rights without restriction.
